As one of the most iconic dance companies around the globe, the New York City Ballet continues to astonish audiences year after year with spectacular dances, mesmerizing talent, and engaging shows. Touring regularly around the country and the world, the New York City Ballet performs approximately 60 ballets in any given season with an expansive company-wide repertory.

Where is the theater located?
The New York City Ballet performs at the David H. Koch Theater at Lincoln Center on the Upper West Side of Manhattan, between West 62nd and 65th Streets and Columbus and Amsterdam Avenues. To get here by Subway, take the 1 local train to 66th St./Lincoln Center Station.
Does the ballet have a dress code?
No. It is advised that patrons dress according to their comfort level and personal style. Some patrons dress very smartly — but others choose to be more casual.
Can I take pictures during the performance?
No. The use of phones and any photography, recording, and electronic devices in the auditorium is not permitted during the performance.
Are children welcome to the ballet?
Yes. All patrons, including small children sitting in laps, must have a ticket to enter the theater. All performances are appropriate for ages 5+ as long as guests are not disruptive to other patrons' enjoyment of the performance. Please be aware that anyone causing a disturbance during a performance, regardless of age, will be asked by a theater usher to leave the auditorium.
Is the theater accessible?
For patrons with limited mobility who require access to the David H. Koch Theater with as few stairs as possible, the best drop-off location is at Columbus Avenue and 63rd Street under the canopy abutting the sidewalk. From that point, follow the ramp to the theater's Lobby where there is elevator access into the auditorium.
Assistive devices for hearing and binoculars are available for rent during the performances, as well.
